New graduates of architecture, urbanism, interior architecture and landscape architecture once again display their design talent. This year, Het Nieuwe Instituut has opened up its 6th floor for the Archiprix 2021 exhibition, part of Rotterdam Architecture Month. The best graduation work from Dutch institutions offering Master’s programmes reveals young designers creating inspiring spatial solutions to address the urgent issues currently confronting us.
Whether the challenge is adapting to rising sea levels, improving the environment for ourselves and other species, enabling a diverse society, addressing the energy transition or strengthening the care infrastructure – it's on the table in this edition of Archiprix.
“No future without young talent”
The best graduation work completed at the Dutch institutions offering Master’s programmes in architecture, urban design, interior architecture and landscape architecture covers every scale. Many of the participants open up new prospects that further the development of their field, sometimes with polemical projects but more often with designs that can be put into immediate practice. We will certainly be seeing these Archiprix entrants again in the world of professional practice, armed with designs that aim to meet the pressing issues ahead.

Archiprix organises Archiprix Netherlands and Archiprix International. Throught the selection and presentation of the best graduation projects in architecture, urbanism, interior architecture and landscape architecture, Archiprix introduces the most talented designers on both the national and international level and presents their graduation projects to the broader public. Both initiatives complement and reinforce each other.
The Archiprix Foundation is a collaboration between Dutch design schools with courses in architecture, urbanism, interior and landscape architecture.
