Sunne Experience
The Sunne Experience is an immersive installation that draws you closer to the sun and is powered by it. The installation consists of several solar Sunne lights - Sunne Rise, Sunne Light, and Sunne Set - that mimic the daily solar cycle while a soundscape surrounds you with the sun's vibrations. This Gallery 3 presentation is part of The Solar Biennale, an initiative of solar designers Marjan van Aubel and Pauline van Dongen.

Sunne is a self-powered solar light that captures, stores and produces light indoors. By day, it harvests energy from the sun while it hangs by your window; by night, it brings sunlight into your home. The Sunne light is made from one long curved strip of aluminum. The solar side of Sunne contains solar cells that harvest energy during the day and then store this power in an integrated battery. To switch Sunne on and off, simply touch the top of the light or use the app. Sunne is shaped like the horizon, the curve providing a larger surface area that allows for maximum solar cells.
